Important Update for UBS Puerto Rico Investors: FINRA Freezes Cases

An important update for investors burned in the UBS Puerto Rico bond funds peddled by UBS financial advisors.  This week, FINRA FINRA announced it is temporarily freezing the processing of the UBS FINRA arbitration cases.  Part of the problem is FINRA simply doesn’t have the arbitrators to process the likely 300 plus cases that will be filed by investors against UBS.  With only 10-13 arbitrators in San Juan, FINRA will have to expand the pool of arbitrators to adjudicate these cases.
